About Client:

Client is a third-party logistics firm in the United States that arranges full truckload, expedited and LTL shipments for clients through its brokerage divisions. It helps in improving their clients service quality and provide operational and financial reporting.

Problem Statement:
    • Client was inclined towards reducing the man hours by automating monotonous tasks.
    • Client wanted to improve their data analysis in order to be able to improve productivity and accuracy while ensuring zero manual interventions.
    • Client required a program to work around the clock, making them ideal for tasks that require constant attention. The ideal program was expected to complete tasks much faster than humans, making the workflow efficient and cost-effective.
    • Compliance processes that needed constant human intervention to load and upload required documents in SharePoint required automation.
    • Client required the process of sorting the invoices from the carrier websites to get the financial data costs automated.

Solutions Provided by Cognine:
    • Unattended bots were implemented to automate certain tasks without any human intervention. These bots were programmed to complete a specific task or set of tasks, often in a repetitive manner.
    • RPA can automate repetitive tasks, such as data entry, order processing, and inventory management, which can improve speed and accuracy, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
    • With the help of UiPath Orchestrator, we scheduled the execution of automated processes and monitored their progress, including detailed logs and analytics.
    • We automated the compliance process by getting all the required documents with respect to load and uploading them in SharePoint. Cognine suggested the client to use Python in the UiPath to get all the new attachments as per the Complisnce requirements.
    • Cognine introduced Semi Structured invoice data reading to be able to extract invoice data that was unstructured. We created around 5-6 rules to extract the exact amount.
Technology Used:

Challenges:
    • The invoice data was unstructured, extracting the required amounts from that invoice was a challenging task. We created around 5-6 rules to extract the exact amount.
    • For Compliance process, we had to get all the new attached documents of the load, but due to unavailability of a download button. We were asked to make use the common button icon which had duplicates.
